So you finally decided to switch to Converge Fiber Internet Connection and now you are very excited to have your application be approved and of course get installed.
The application procedure of Converge is pretty simple and straightforward. Everything can be done via online and you do not need to go to its main office to submit an app or requirements. In here, I will discuss some of the common issues encountered by many applicants that caused delays to the approval.
The Application Form:
Normally, the app form is being sent by your Agent either hardcopy or through your email. When filling up the form, (a) it is important to remember that you need to answer all questions in there. No Blanks and put N/A for those "Not Applicable". (b) You also need to sign the front and back of the application form. And finally (c) you need to check the plan that you want to avail. You would be surprised how many applications got delayed just because of that tick mark.
The Requirements:
Your application will go through Document Validation Process. During this process, your submitted application form together with your documents will be carefully checked. So what are the things you need to know now in order for your application be approved fast?
(1). Your ID
The name on the ID must exactly match the name of the applicant on the application form. It is very important that when you take a photo or scan your ID it must be readable and free from errors.
(2). The Proof of Billing (POB)
The name on the Proof of Billing must match with the name of the applicant on the application form and on the ID submitted. The Address indicated on the POB must also be the same on the address written on the application form. The billing date must be the latest (last two months) - for example, if you are applying this January 2018, then your POB must be dated Either December 2017 or November 2017.
If you can comply with the tips above, your application will be approved within 24-48 hours only upon receipt of your app and requirements. NOTE: Incomplete requirements will not be processed.
Once your documents passed the validation, an Account Number will be created for you and will be sent to your email. Included also in the email is the instruction on how to make the initial payment.
The moment you made a payment, it is very important that you will take a picture or scan the proof of payment and upload it to the link provided in your email. This is to notify the Validation Officer that payment has been made and this will trigger Job Order Creation for your Fiber Internet Connection. So, No POB, No Job Order!
After you uploaded the Proof of Payment, you should expect a text message from Converge for the schedule of Installation of your Fiber Internet Connection.
